    Lead Technical Business Analyst

    I worked in a product role for both sales forecasting and price optimization teams. I developed requirements for big-data processing projects and collaborated with data science and engineering teams to deliver sales forecasting and promotional optimization capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Defined product requirements with business stakeholders and documented stories for engineering team to launch a national item- store-day forecast for Kroger. Integrated with budgeting tool.
    • Developed requirements for service that optimized promotional prices. Successfully launched MVP solution into Kroger’s promo planning systems.
    • Proficient in the use of big-data platforms including Hadoop, Spark, Python, Nifi, and Airflow.

    I served in a digital project management and technical consultant role for one of the top digital agencies in the US. Gathered requirements from our account managers, project managers, creative and strategy teams to deliver website experiences that exceeded the expectations of our clients.

    Collaborated with designers, account leads & strategy on technical aspects of web development projects and provided thought-leadership on new technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical thought leadership and consulting for all web development projects.
    • Estimated and project managed scores of development projects.
    • Wrote functional & technical specifications documentation to provide cleear direction to development team.
    • Managed development sprints with Jira’s bug tracking and Kanbahn tools. Familiar with both ‘Agile’ and ‘Waterfall' methodologies.
    • Responsible for deploying & testing code in our Client’s environment.
    • Supported team with front-end development in CSS and HTML as well as filling design/UX roles when necessary using Photoshop and axure.

    As an E-Commerce Administrator, I worked with our sales team to recommend and implement digital marketing campaigns to help drive sales for the department. Once our strategy was in place, I worked with the IT department to research and recommend web hosting and CMS platforms that would allow the strategic vision to be successful and affordable. Often, I designed developed websites using Wordpress for The Andersons Grain Group.

    Accomplishments

    • Designed & produced responsive Html5 video blog using Wordpress--seemlessly integrating 3rd-party video encoding services. Developed responsive futures charting tools using javascript charting engine, Javascript, and Object-Oriented PHP.
    • Built interactive iPad web-apps with javascript and jQuery. Successfully championed the corporate adoption Wordpress, leading to a wave of company-wide web innovation.
    • Key role in rebranding effort; developed marketing campaigns with branding agency. Brand training lead.
    • Supported communications efforts with hundreds of email campaigns, print design, video editing, and google analytics.

    Music
